June Taup(e)date - Nuss-Mix

Hej! When a container of mixed nuts is opened after it has been shaken, the larger nuts tend to be on top. This phenomenon is known as the brazil nut effect. Hopefully this email is a larger variety of nut and it rises to the top of your inbox.

Well, its been a while... no start again - its been ages - since i splurged a bit of verse in an update so im taking a sunny day in geneva when i could well be outside (actually my washing is turning) to scribe a quick mail to you.

hope you are well. ive been in touch with a few friends recently, as far as montpellier, canada and new zealand. in fact a visit from the latter was received this week, jolly good fun, two kiwis cheering each other over the tagine in my humble 25m2 abode. all welcome!

so besides driving to montpelier to visit a friend and crossing the Milau bridge (for those who know about vehicular bridges, this is the tallest and is located in Milau, France, funnily enough) i've been plodding along with the rest of geneva.  my girlfriend and i are hoping to make some more trips this year and definitely spend time by the sea.  oh how i miss the sea!

i celebrated my 25th on May 10th (my preferred date for a birthday), that was a multinational little conundrum, even the tagine stayed in the cupboard to make room for the guests. the bananiwi cake was a treat ;)

coté musique, im currently jamming with a flautist from nz, and a german guy who is half korean. the other night we played mozarts quintet for clarinet, only we lacked 3 players as the flautist was away. it sounded a bit like suzuki method for 10 year olds, only with the accompaniment of the german's hamsters (who sound like pigeons) and a chuckling simeon barker who was the kiwi visiting me this week.

well im off for a swim in the lake and to search for a viola player.

muchos besos!

p.s. you will never see cashews sold in their shell. it contains a poisonous resin, urishol.
