Taup(e)date - New Zealand calling - Nöel 09

Kia ora, foogles and mouse potatoes!

Hope you are well.  A few advancements since the last taup(e)date, so here's your pre-Christmas stuffing:

All well in Geneva,
the days are fresher, the raclette hunt is a-go and the fondue forks are being sharpened.  Currently living near the  train station in a small studio.  Geneva, also known as Calvingrad, has a politcal system of Immigrational Anarchy, with frequent tram loads of 20 different nationalities.  On Geneva, Julius Caesar probably noted in his War of the Gaules: "Dinner chez Lipp.  Good but expensive: allow 80 francs a head.  Chic area ideal for picking up Babarians.  Don't take too big a legion, parking spaces limited..."  Recently saw depeche mode in concert here and going again to see them in Zürich.

I'm heading to New Zealand on the 13th december with my girlfriend, for a holiday.  will be great to catch up with those of you in NZ  with a beach barbie, a few snarlers at my place and a good pavlova.  And warm Vogels!  We will return to europe on the 31st, crossing into 2010 by landing in Paris. I can picture the first New Year croissant, flaky, warm and jam dripping.  the stillness of paris on the 1st January, the dark skies and the look of inebriated parisians contemplating the year ahead...bring it on!

My swiss mobile number will be active in New Zealand: 0041 78 884 6922

Maybe see you soon and all the best, wherever you are!
